When a New England event planner meets a New England wedding planner and florist...

We are a political production dude and a wedding planner-turned florist-turned event designer. We look at our events from two different angles. Kate (KM) designs inspiration boards, sketches out the vision and hands it over to Chris (CM). Chris looks at the sketches, listens to Kate’s ideas and builds the sometimes almost impossible for their clients.  An added bonus? Kate and Chris got married this August (2016) and they worked on designing their own intimate wedding together.

Design and execution working together seamlessly. That’s what Malloy Events does.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt to add in years upon years of experience. Chris just successfully helped produce the NH Primary 2016, working with many of the candidates for both the republican and democratic parties, but mainly focusing on Hillary for America and Bernie Sanders for President.  Kate has planned and designed over 500 weddings, including events in New England, Seattle, and even St. John and has worked with celebrities and politicians to plan their special events.  Her work and expertise has been featured in numerous national wedding magazines.

After being elected at age 22 and serving 2 years in the New Hampshire State House of Representatives, Chris founded his events company, Community Events in 2004. Malloy Events focuses on creating custom high end events for clients that include corporate events, weddings, political events, galas and other special occasions.

Chris is a past President of the Souhegan Valley Rotary Club and was on board of directors for The Front Door Agency in Nashua, NH. In 2012 he was named part of the “Next 20” business leaders in Nashua in the Nashua Telegraph’s inaugural “Next 20” list. He’s currently on the board of Millspace, Center for the Arts in Newmarket NH.

New England Wedding Florist

Kate started her wedding planning and event design company back in 2003 and specialized in planning and designing over 500 destination New England weddings, although her team planned weddings as far away as St. John and Seattle, WA and spent many summers on both Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.  She had the honor and pleasure of working with celebrity clients such as Daphne Oz and Sam Huntington in addition to many high profile clients throughout her career. She has been featured in numerous national wedding magazines including Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides Magazine, Seacoast Weddings, People and Us Weekly.

Known for never getting flustered at an event, Kate has designed weddings on islands in the middle of Lake Winnepesaukee in torrential rain storms and has created almost 100 floral centerpieces in the middle of January on one of the coldest days of the year when flowers freeze from being outside for three minutes.  She over prepares for each of her clients' events, having a plan B and sometimes C that are equally beautiful and effortless as Plan A. Kate works with the very best vendors to create stunningly designed and flawlessly executed special events.

Kate is the creative director of Malloy Events and manages the “soft goods” arms of the business, focusing on weddings, corporate and social events, and all things floral and event design.  She is also a mother to Zachary “ZP” who wants to also become an entrepreneur when he grows up, and the Dog-Mom to Louisa, who is also knows as Cow Dog.

Sara Halbich (Haaaaabs)- floral designer and event planner

Sara joined the Malloy Events team in 2017 and jumped headfirst into our floral design team, quickly also tackling some of our most important clients. She specializes in organic floral designs, adding any type of boho chic element she can to our events, and using the most insane voices throughout the day that the rest of the team just joins in with her. Honestly, Sara is loved by all of our clients at Malloy Events because of her calm demeanor, her ability to create just about anything with any items she’s given, in an insanely fast amount of time, and her general ability to get tasks completed with a smile.

Leah Frasca (Pandas)- floral designer and event planner

Leah has been an on and off team members for Malloy Events since its inception as Chris Malloy Events in Nashua, NH! She recently joined our team full time after working in Boston for many years and has been tackling some of our major clients, managing our staff on sites, and working with our floral team. Leah also likes to add a bit of boho style to the events we design, along with a sense of fashion that can’t seem to be found elsewhere. Her natural ability to work with clients made her an easy addition to the team.

Atonna Siemens- floral designer and director of adding sparkles to everything

Atonna comes to the Malloy Events team all the way from Nebraska. Her and her husband live in NH now and Atonna has a background in interior design and cake baking which at Malloy Events means she’s the perfect addition to our floral team. She has a natural ability to create our large-format floral pieces, carry extremely heavy pieces of our equipment without batting an eyelash, and adds sparkle to everything she can. I mean everything. She’s our holiday decor guru, sparkle president, and nicest person on our team, by a mile.

Sean joined our team in 2018 and has quickly become the all-around Malloy Events crew member. You’ll find him in the truck loading our furniture, creating floral designs, working with our lighting team, or installing boxwood onto everything.
